GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

Cumin prices are holding at last week's level. Market players report that the quality of this year's crop is good, especially the goods from Gujarat are much better than last year. The mandis are registering sufficiently high arrivals, so that price increases are not to be expected from this side in the coming days either. In addition, the acreage in Gujarat has increased. Grade A cumin costs USD 2,088/mt FOB India.
