Cumin

Domestic demand in India is on hold due to the dramatic coronavirus situation and the resulting measures, but market players expect buying interest to increase as soon as the situation returns to some degree of normality. Export demand has also slowed down, but remains at a satisfactory level because there is interest in organic cumin, especially in Europe and America. Farmers are currently bringing very few goods to the mandis and prefer to keep them in storage for the time being in the hope that prices will rise soon. Grade A cumin costs USD 2.088/mt FOB Ind
