GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

Cumin prices continue their downward trend, which, according to market players, is primarily due to weak demand and the prospect of a large crop. Stockists in particular therefore prefer to wait and see what the new arrivals will bring. Traders report that the initially weak quality is steadily improving. Due to the waiting attitude of many traders, a price increase is not expected in the coming days. Grade A cumin costs USD 1,920/mt FOB India this week.
