Walnuts: smaller EU crop expected

... to reach 127,450 mt. Among others, the French walnut crop is expected to increase from 34,900 mt to 36,000 mt compared to last year, while Romania's production is expected to decrease by 4,600 mt to 47,000 mt (FAS Europe Offices).

Between August 2019 and July 2020, Germany imported a total of 46,304 mt of unshelled walnuts*, more than half of them from the USA and another 7,663 mt from Chile.
