After cumin prices had risen significantly in recent weeks, prices have fallen this time. This is partly due to the large production volumes in other growing countries: China is expected to double its production this season to up to 60,000 mt, and the situation is similar in Afghanistan and Turkey, where 45,000-50,000 mt of cumin are expected.
