Cumin seeds

Cumin has become the most mundane commodity given the current situation. Although prices have remained firm on the surface, things are turning worse every day. Some transactions were seen in rural areas as farmers, exhausted of holding stocks, were selling at very low rates. News has it that they were offering discounts of USD 30-35 per quintal and liquidated huge volumes. As little as 6,000-7,000 bags are arriving in Gujarat per day, which shows that neither farmers nor traders have any interest in transactions.
