Cumin prices have fallen further compared to last week. According to Indian market players, the further price development now depends largely on two factors. Firstly, demand from China plays an important role: after producing between 20,000 and 23,000 mt each in 2019 and 2020, the crop volume already collapsed to 15,000 mt last year and only 10,000 mt are forecast for 2022.
