GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

Cumin prices have increased compared to last week. According to Indian traders, this is due to increased demand; domestically, many market players are preparing for the Diwali festival, but buying interest from overseas is also high. Mandis report brisk trading activity, so prices are rising despite high supplies. Grade A cumin currently costs USD 2,089/mt FOB India.
