GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

Cumin prices are up week-on-week and futures are also higher than last week. There is good demand for Indian goods in the international market as production in Turkey and Syria is down and exporters are therefore buying more in India to meet demand. Domestic demand is also good, so market players believe that prices could rise even further. Grade A cumin currently costs USD 2,175/mt FOB India.
