Cumin prices have climbed by another USD 60/mt compared to last week. Market players report that traders are sometimes going directly to farmers and making them tempting offers that are even higher than the current market prices; many farmers are nevertheless not willing to sell as they expect even stronger price increases. At present, market players reckon that almost 70% of the remaining goods are in the hands of the growers.
