After a few difficult weeks, cumin prices have now recovered slightly. Local traders are hopeful that the price increase will continue in the coming weeks, as arrivals are relatively low. At present, goods from the old crop still account for about 30-35%. Stocks of most major traders are now almost depleted, but they are still reluctant to stock up because of the high prices.
