Cumin

After cumin prices had literally exploded in the last few weeks, there were now significant decreases of USD 160/mt in a weekly comparison. Indian market players are concerned about the large imports that are expected to come onto the market from Syria and Afghanistan in the next few days. Later, further large import volumes from China are to be added, which are priced significantly below the Indian goods. This puts a lot of pressure on Indian cumin, so further price cuts are likely.
