Cumin seeds

Almost four months ago, the government of India promised to promote cumin seed exports, but so far, nothing has happened. For this reason, exports of cumin seeds from India have been temporarily halted, as market players report. In addition, the acreage in Gujarat was smaller due to late sowing. As a result, export prices for cumin seeds, 99% purity, increased to USD 0.09 per kg to USD 2.34 per kg FOB India this week.
