Cumin

As in the previous week, Indian cumin prices have increased again, but local market players are still reporting a rather tense situation. The large stockists want to stock up on bigger quantities in the hope of further price increases, while farmers are not willing to sell at the currently still quite cheap prices. In addition, there is the prospect of a large global crop; for example, the sowing volume in Afghanistan is said to have doubled this year.
