Uzbekistan gains foothold in China

China has opened its saffron market to Uzbekistan as local media report. In July, China approved imports of saffron grown in the Uzbekistan's Baxmal District, which is seen as another step forward for the country to expand trading after the United States Department of Agriculture issued an organic certificate for the product BMB Za’faron, thereby enabling Uzbek supplies to be sold in the USA.
