RCN: Notice to Raw Cashew Nut Buying Licence

 

NOTICE TO RAW CASHEW NUT BUYING LICENSE FOR 201712018 CROP SEASON.

The Cashew Nut Board of Tanzania (CBT) wishes to inform prospective buyers of Raw Cashew nuts (RCN) that the buying season for the year 2017/2018 opens officially on 1st September, 2017.

In this Crop Season, CBT shall issue two separate Buying Licenses one for local processors and the other one for RCN Exporters. One buyer can apply for both licenses depending on the needs. License Will be issued Free of charge after completion of all procedures.

All interested buyers are advised to apply for the relevant licenses upon filling in the application forms which will be submitted along with certified copies of:

  1. Valid Business license
  2. Taxpayer's Identification Certificate (TIN/VAT Certificate)
  • Company's Certificate of Incorporation/Registration.
  1. Two colored passport size photos of the company Representative.
  2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.

License application forms can be obtained from CBT Head Office in Mtwara or us Branches in Dar es Salaam, Tunduru and Tanga or can be downloaded from the website www.cashew.go.tz

BUYERS SHOULD DEPOSIT BID SECURITY AGAINST AUCTION INTO THE  CASHEWNUT BOARD OF TANZANIA ACCOUNT BEFORE HIS/HER LICENSE COLLECTION AS PER THE FOLLOWING RATES: -
