Pine nuts: Prices stay at record level

DALIAN. Prices for Chinese pine nuts remain at record levels, but stocks continue to shrink.

Small nuts for big prices
According to market participants, it is estimated that not even 2,000 mt of pine nuts are still be available on the Chinese market. Many dealers completely refrain from submitting offers. There are now only a few offers left and only at record prices. Chinese pine nuts, 950 Count are offered at a level of 30,300 USD/mt CIF Hamburg.
