ORDU. A few days before the turn of the year, the Turkish hazelnut market is calming down. Raw material prices have...

... stabilised at the previous week's level of TRY 46.00/kg and there is not much change in export offers at the moment either. Traders are restocking the quantities sold to Ferrero. Hazelnut kernels, natural, 11-13 mm are currently trading for 5.69 EUR/kg DDP Germany.

However, the TMO already announced last week that it would be available for purchases throughout the season, which sets the bottom price in the market at around 22.00 TRY/kg. Current price indications for hazelnuts in shell are still at a level of 22.75 TRY/kg.
