ORDU. With supplies running low and tensions being felt speculations are running wild in Turkey. Buyers in Europe have adopted a more cautious strategy than their colleagues in Turkey.

Too early, and too unreliable

To prevent further price rises the Exporters’ Union has stated that a production record of 860,000 mt is to be expected this year. Market players, however, decry this first official estimate as too early to be taken seriously.
