New arrivals may pressure market

This week, the crackers and traders are reckoning with an increase in arrivals, which may push prices down a little. So far the qualities are good and most of natural kernels, namely 53-57%, are size 11-13 mm. Size 9-11 mm should make up 10-12% and size 13-15 mm is expected to range at 33-35%. Harvesting has been completed in the valleys and in the higher altitudes harvesting will start in about 10 to 15 days. As of today, farmers can sell their nuts to the TMO.
