Hazelnuts: Fungal infections might negatively affect production

Inflation-related price correction expected
Hazelnut kernels, 11–13 mm, natural (EU quality) are expected to trade at similar prices next season for which they are offered now. The exchange rate developments cannot be predicted, especially considering the early elections; the weak Turkish lira might lead to price corrections for raw commodities.  Market participants are expecting a trading range of 9.75–11.50 TRY/kg for the 2018/19 season.
