Cumin Prices continue going downward due Presser of selling

Coriander & Cumin are traded less in the market sine last two days.

Cumin Seeds:

The arrival of cumin in Unjha mandi is about 4500 bags new arrival and repeated sale is 3500 bags. Total was 8000 bags arrival report. Overall 17500 bags reported in different markets of Cumin. On the NCDEX market prices has gone down. Cumin continue to go down in physical market. Cumin futures market is continue on down ward trend. There is pressure of selling side in the physical market as well as online future market. Long terms sentiments are strong but due to selling presser in the future markets as well as physical market prices are going down. There is less demand from international market as well as local market.

Mumbai: Commodity Exchange NCDEX has decided to increase the pre expiry margin on cumin futures. Now this margin is 1.5 per cent per day but now it will be 3 per cent. After the expiry of the September futures, the pre-margin on cumin will be applicable.

Coriander Seeds:

In the Baran mandi of Rajasthan, arrival reported about 3200 bags and the price are stable. There is less demand for local market reported today. Due to arrival of the foreign cargo at the port and selling presser makes market stable. Arrival in Rajasthan:  Ramganj mandi, Kota, Baran, Gujrat, Gondal, Junagadh total arrival reported about 6500 bags.

Fenugreek Seeds:

Market is stable. There is less demand from local market and International market

Millet / Yellow-Green Bajra:

Price is down. There is no demand for exports as well as local market. Arrivals are less in the market.

Kalonji / Black Seeds: 

Prices are up. There is demand for exports as well as local market. There is demand for Essential Oils producers and other processor. Arrivals are less in the market yards.

Mustard Seeds:

Market is stable. Prices are stable. Not much movement in the market. There is not much demand for crushing as well as local market.

Fennel Seeds:

Prices are down; there is not much demand from local and exports market. Buyers don’t want to pay higher prices. Arrivals reported stable and down as compare to previous day in Unjha market yard.

Flax Seeds:

Prices are down for machine cleaned and sortex cargo. There less demand reported for exports as well as local market.

Dill Seeds:

Prices are down. There is no demand from international and domestic market.

Ajuwain Seeds/ Aniseeds:

Prices are up. There is demand from local as well as exports market and arrivals are very less. There is possibility of imports from Pakistan. Pakistan origin is cheaper at the moment and there is gap in the prices.
