MADRID. The uncertainty surrounding this year’s potential losses in California is prompting Spanish traders to adjust their local prices.

 

Not all prices are rising
The prices of Valencia almonds are the same as they were this time last year and seem to have stabilised for the time being. The prices of other types of Spanish almonds also remained stable, with only a few traders raising the prices to amounts even higher than the prices from a few days ago. For instance, the price of Largueta almonds, natural > 14 mm increased by 0.25 EUR/kg, whereas that of natural Valencia almonds, 10-12 mm, increased by 0.10 EUR/kg.
