MADRID/SACRAMENTO. US shipments to Europe have jumped by 15% since the beginning of the season. If this rate continues there may, however, be some problems.

Organic almonds trade in stable range

Supplies are, however, limited in Spain. Some traders are, in addition, holding back with offers for the time being. They prefer to wait and see in which way the market will develop before actively offering to ship almonds again. Conventional natural Valencia almonds, 12/14 mm, are trading at EUR 6.15 per kg FCA Spain, while blanched almonds range at EUR 6.40 per kg FCA. Organic almonds are trading in a stable range with organic natural Valencia almonds ranging at EUR 9.80 per kg.
