Almonds: record exports drive price increase

…  just under 89,000 mt, which is about one third more than the record value from December 2019. Good demand is allowing suppliers to raise their prices bit by bit from the current long-term low. Also this week, the US almond prices in the European spot market increased by EUR 0.05/kg, so that California, SSR, 23/25, natural are currently being offered for EUR 4.35/kg FCA Spain. The offers for Spanish Valencias followed suit and also increased by EUR 0.10/kg. Only the offers for Marcona and Largueta almonds have been stable for a while now.
