MADRID/SACRAMENTO. US production is set to exceed expectations. Market players are reckoning with a bumper crop, which is adding pressure to the market.

 

Price drops in Spain

Although prices remain relatively fixed in the local spot markets in Spain, local traders have gone down in price, some even by as much as 0.20 EUR/kg. The expected bumper crop in the US and excellent prospects for the Spanish crop are pressurising prices.
