Almonds: Prices are on the rise again in Spain

MADRID. Prices in the almond market in Spain have stabilised somewhat this week. Some types are even trading slightly higher than last week.

On the rise

The almond market in Spain is currently witnessing stable prices and nominal increases. Valencia and Ramillete almonds are trading 0.10 EUR7kg higher, whereas Marcona and Largueta almonds are offered for the same prices as last week.

The general price level is considerably lower than a year ago. This is due to the record crop in California and the rise in production in Spain in 2017.
