MADRID/SACRAMENTO. The Spanish almond market has not been performing well in recent weeks and price adjustments were made again this week.

Suppliers want to sell
Valencia and Marcona almonds are being sold at last week’s level, however Ramillete and Largueta are being offered at lower prices. At 6.90 EUR/kg, Largueta almonds, >14 mm, are 0.40 EUR/kg cheaper than last week. Weak Christmas sales are putting pressure on sellers, which is consequently impacting year-end prices.
