Almonds: Marconas up to 50 cents more expensive

MADRID/SACRAMENTO. In some cases, the prices in Spain are once again rising strongly before the Christmas break. This trend is expected to continue in the new year.

 

Strong demand continues

Although prices are noticeably higher than last year, the producers in Spain are far from satisfied. A very good production was recorded in the country this year. In addition, imports from California total 26,468 mt since the start of the season. Traders most certainly cannot complain about a lack of demand.
