Almonds: US exports are on the rise

SACRAMENTO. The position report for November states that US exports have risen by 8% this season so far. Registrations also range higher than last year.

US shipments decline

November shipments range at 107,000 metric tonnes for almonds with and without shells. This is a nominal decline since last year. While overseas shipments have risen by more than 1,000 metric tonnes to 79,466 metric tonnes, US shipments have declined by 1,595 metric tonnes to 27,466 metric tonnes. This development is in line with the previous months. A total of 273,563 metric tonnes have been exported since August, which is an increase of 8% over last year.
