Almonds: Driven by desire

MADRID/SACRAMENTO. The Spanish almond industry has high hopes. There still is a long way to go before China can become a large buyer of Spanish almonds.

 

Stable prices and nominal increases

The prices for almonds in Spain are slowly but surely levelling off. There will still, however, be minor fluctuations for the time being until the US production arrives in the Europe in mid-November.

Traders in Spain have again raised the prices for Valencia almonds this week by 0.10 EUR/kg. Apart from that, the prices are largely stable.
