Almonds: Andalusian almond production said to increase by 30%

MADRID/SACRAMENTO. The agricultural organisations in Andalusia expect production to increase by around 30% in the coming season.

14,950 mt of almonds due to larger areas
Andalusia is the largest cultivation region for Spanish almonds. Agricultural experts assume that the Andalusian almond crop will reach 14,950 mt in 2019/20, about 30% more than last year. Of this, 13,000 mt are Comunas, 1,200 mt Marconas and almost 750 mt Larguetas. As a reminder: Two years ago the production achieved a result of 16,525 mt.
