SOFIA. The snow expected in Bulgaria has fallen and the agricultural area is covered in over 50 cm of snow. Thus moisture content of their field soil is currently nothing farmers need to worry about.

Suppliers biding their time
The snow masses have their downside too. Some roads are completely closed or not passable for trucks. Raw material trade has slowed in turn and prices have dropped slightly.
Much demand and snow covered roads are quickly taking Bulgarian sunflower seed processors to their limits but as yet prices for sunflower seeds, bakery remain stable with a rising tendency. For suppliers it is still too early to force price increases.
