Sunflower seeds: Russia intends to harvest 20 million mt

SOFIA/MOSCOW. While a large part of the Eastern European sunflower seed market is slowly but surely taking leave for the Christmas break reports state that production is set to double in Russia over the next five years.

 

Stable prices

Black in shells, 96% purity, are trading slightly higher than last week, at a level of 281 EUR/mt CPT Varna. The prices for hulled bakery kernels remain unchanged and at a level of 0.61-0.63 EUR/kg DDP Germany.
