Sunflower seeds: Current production estimates for 2019/2020

SOFIA/FRANKFURT. Global production is expetced to range on a similar level as last year.

Global production estimated at 52.38 million metric tonnes

So far, the production prospects are encouraging in Bulgaria and the market is closely observing the weather, which has been rather good for the development of the plants.  Market analyst Oil World is optimistic that production will rise to 2 million metric tonnes in Bulgaria this year, which is an increase of nearly 4% over last year.
