Germany still obtains the majority of its imported sultanas from Turkey, but the volume of 8,985 metric tonnes in 2019 is 15.9% below last year's import volume of 10,679 metric tonnes. A significant increase of 126.3% was recorded for imports from China, and imports from Uzbekistan also more than doubled to 688 mt compared to 2018.
