Sultanas: Traders are in urgent need of money

MANISA. The spring-like temperatures in Turkey at the beginning of February worry producers and traders of dried fruit. They are clinging to the hope that the fruits may be spared from spring frosts this year.

 

Shipments are going well
Turkish dried fruit suppliers have exported over 136,500 mt of sultanas since the beginning of the season, which is approximately 3,000 mt more compared to the same time last year.
