MANISA. Prices for Turkish sultanas have stabilised for the time being. Due to the smaller crop, however, price rises will be inevitable in the new year.

Exports up by 17%
Since the start of the season, almost 31,500 mt of sultanas and other dried grapes have been exported from Turkey, an increase of 17.3% on the same period last year. Exports will, however, not be able to remain at this rate permanently, as the estimated 260,000 mt available this season are insufficient.
