Sultanas: Supplies to run low soon

MANISA. Although the export prices are higher than last year, exports from Turkey have risen by more than 12% this season. Supplies are much lower than last year.

 

Exports gain pace

The export business with Turkish sultanas is flourishing. Since the beginning of the season, almost 46,000 mt of dried grapes have been shipped overseas, around 12% more than last year around this time. Until the end of November, exports are expected to maintain this high pace. Traders expect the market to be quieter as of December.
