Sultanas: Further price adjustments

MANISA. The dried fruit market in Turkey is increasingly focusing on the new crop and the local elections, which will be held at the end of March. Opinions differ as to the current demand situation.

Stable demand

The current high price level dampened demand at the beginning of February. While some market players are still reporting of few enquiries, others are observing a stable demand situation. At 143,883 mt, exports from Turkey are only lagging 1.3% behind last year.
