Coriander seeds

Coriander has been the most stagnant commodity this year so far. Several factors are preventing price rises. The first is the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Although low prices gave rise to expectations that exports to countries in this region would receive a boost, reality is that shipments to the Arab world and Europe are disrupted. Secondly, the cash flow is reduced in the Indian market and affluent traders are avoiding coriander due to huge carry-forward stocks and shockingly low demand.
