Sesame seeds: new tender is imminent

NEW DELHI. The next tender is due and it is expected to be twice as large as the last one. If prices match, Indian exporters could win a huge part of the bids this time.

South Korea wants 15,000 mt of sesame seeds

The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation announced details for another sesame seed tender this week. This is expected to fill the gap left by the last tender and at the same time cover the stock for longer. Interested bidders can register to participate from 19 May, and the outcome will be determined on 22 May. The quantity offered per bidder should be at least 300 mt, 600 mt or a maximum of 900 mt.
