South Korea to buy 12,000 mt of sesame seeds

This week South Korea announced a new sesame seed tender which is scheduled for 26 April; registration is open from 22 April. In total, the country wants to buy 12,000 mt of sesame seeds, divided into three positions each for delivery in June, July and August 2022. Sesame seed tenders are still one of the few reliable sales opportunities for Indian exporters, so market players are hoping for a successful participation and accompanying firmer prices.
