Sesame seeds: South Korea could reject tender shipments

NEW DELHI. The lack of high quality goods is keeping trading activity in the Indian sesame seed market low. In addition, exporters now fear for their shipments to South Korea.

Low quality puts prices under pressure

The price increase for unhulled sesame seeds caused by the tender profit fails to materialise in other sectors. While natural sesame seeds are offered at the same level as last week, prices for both hulled and black sesame seeds continue to come under pressure.
