Sesame seeds: Slight delays possible

NEW DELHI. Market participants estimate the result of the sesame seed crop at a total of 40,000-50,000 mt, of which only half is suitable for the export market.

25,000-30,000 mt export quality
Overall, Indian sesame seed traders speak of a good summer harvest in 2019. In some regions there was a decline in yields due to water scarcity, but in other areas this was not noticeable. The market participants' estimates are between 40,000 and 50,000 mt sesame, of which probably 25,000-30,000 mt are suitable for the export market.
