Sesame seeds: Comparing prices is worthwhile

NEU-DELHI. The Indian market for sesame seeds is feeling the pressure from Africa but most dealers have not given up hope yet.

Europe, the U.S. and Canada are reliable buyers of Indian sesame seeds, even if there is an occasional drop in demand. 

India comes last
Prices are more or less stable with minimal fluctuations and slightly higher differences between suppliers. It is particularly interesting to see that sesame seeds are just 100 USD/mt above last year, which is unusual since the production volume was considerably lower.
Large stocks in China and a good African crop have reduced interest in Indian sesame seeds quite perceptibly.
