NEW DELHI. Exporters are reckoning with good chances of winning bids for the current tender from South Korea. The tender is running until the end of the week.

India stands a good chance

After Indian exporters had been left empty-handed at the last tender from South Korea, the price pressure in the international market led to a significant drop again, despite reports of a disappointing crop. South Korea has announced a tender over 6,700 mt of sesame seeds, 2,700 mt of which are to be in premium quality. Bids will be accepted until 10 January 2019. Indian exporters are hoping to win around half of the tendered volume.
