Romania has noticeably increased its export of corn

Romania reported growth was 18% of export of Corn

 Since the beginning of the current season September 2016 – January 2017 the export of Romanian corn amounted to 2249 Thousand MT, i.e. there was 18% increase in the volume in comparison with the same period of the last season - 1909 Thousand MT. Egypt retains its position as the main buyer of corn this season 2016/2017 - 393.8 Thousand MT against 91 Thousand MT in September 2015 – January 2016.
Thus, the country displaces Spain in a second place with 361 Thousand MT.
In this ranking follows Portugal, which has increased import up to 168 Thousand MT. Fourth is Lebanon with 166 Thousand MT.
