Pumpkin seeds: market situation is "a bit crazy"

BEIJING. Prices have taken an unexpected turn in China's pumpkin seed market over the last few days. This is the more surprising as trading should be rather subdued throughout this week's holiday.

GWS prices continue to rise

Issue is that speculators started buying up GWS kernels in recent weeks and prices continue to rise. Traders state that the market situiation is "a bit crazy".
