Pumpkin seeds: high demand causes export prices to rise

BEIJING. Rising commodity prices and increased demand are mutually stimulating the Chinese pumpkin seed market, which is being felt by buyers through higher export prices.

Farmgate prices have risen significantly

Within a few days, commodity prices at the origin Xinjiang have increased significantly. While prices for Shine Skins were still at CNY 14.5/kg last week, they are currently at a level of CNY 15.0-15.5/kg, with some traders even calling for prices of CNY 16.00 /kg.
